William’s Walk is a multi-family community whose design inspiration was drawn from the nearby historic town of St. Augustine, Florida and the early travels of the botanist William Bartram. The overall community design focused on developing a village-like environment and maintaining the natural Florida character of the site while introducing a modern, sophisticated palette of botanical art, design, and materials. The village meeting hall offers traditional outdoor spaces with a focus on historic elements touched with contemporary refinement. The outdoor spaces include: shaded arbor terraces with hammocks; an alfresco dining area shaded by a Sabal Palm grove and framed by an outdoor fireplace; a tropical spa getaway complete with hand painted botanical wall art; and an avant garde swimming pool. Pedestrian access points throughout the village are marked by gateways reminiscent of St. Augustine’s historic St. George Street. An extensive walking trail connects the village residents to nature, one another, site amenities, and a nearby retail center.
